A convenient way to package LaserPad for shipping is to place its segments in its carrying case and pack its carrying case into the shipping box. This way when the customer gets their new pad, it’s ready to be carried to its first destination in their home. Also, it should be a little cheaper to ship this way because inter-segment packing material won’t be required as it’s already in the carrying case.
Carrying cases could be an optional accessory, in which case several styles of case could be offered with varying designs. Characters or logos for Dance Dance Revolution may have to be licensed in this case.

Carrying case shown has a zipper cover, a plain black nylon exterior, and cloth lining inside to cover its molded foam body. Materials involved and overall feel would be similar to that of a cheap musical instrument case.
